As part of the typeface design workshop program organised up by Karen Cheng, Jean François Porchez was invited to gives three lectures during his stay in Seattle in February 2012. The first was about Sabon Next and Henderson projects, and was hosted by Geoffrey Turnovsky course about the impact of the printing press in 16th-18th-century Europe at Washington University. Another about logotypes and bespoke fonts, organised jointly by French-American chambers of commerce and Alliance Française.

Redesigning a website is never a small detail. It started in May 2011, when I asked to Tim Brown and Jason Santa Maria for suggestions: I have just the folks you should talk to, some good friends of ours at Paravel I’ve worked with them on numerous projects, and they are fast, intelligent, and very good. I highly recommend them! At Typofonderie, we suddenly realized that these guys were behind many projects, from Letteringjs to FitText in addition to various publications about Responsive design.
Capri is a new typeface designed by Felix Braden in the tradition of geometric typefaces from the late 20s.
